At the McDrive is a big part of my turnover. There is a strong safe with a CCi Countercache in it. A smaller safe that counts immediately and packs the notes automatically in a sealed bag. G4S can scan these sealed
bags directly and they are no longer repacked and/or opened.
Nobody fiddles with notes manually anymore and I can see on my screen what's in which bag. I don't want any hassle at the counter and only the authenticity is checked. The shift manager counts the cash drawer several times a day together with the crew member in the back office where I also have a CCi. Because of this fragmented deposit in the CCI, there is never a deposit drawer and there are only standard drawers in the value cupboard. The cash register transactions remain fast, the notes are safely stored and counted in a sealed bag and I can trace exactly who did what. Safety first and the cash flow has become transparent.

I also went from 14 to 6 large sealed bags per week in value transport. So the investment also pays for itself because of the savings on the cash handling costs at the money counting centre'.
